"The inspiration for the creature is Lua, my dog. Although Lua lounges around the studio, offering anatomic poses, the impulse behind the creature is a personality that has been manifesting itself within my work for years and, probably, represents myself. This creature could have ferocious power or be as gentle as a lamb.

My muse and guardian angel understands me like no other and knows she must keep a tight rein on my actions for I could upset the universe if left to my own devises."
